ZKM, the workshop venue, is easily accessible from various tram lines that run from the Karlsruhe Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof).

We have negotiated a special conference rate for your stay in Karlsruhe at the Schlosshotel Karlsruhe which is across the street from the Karlsruhe Central Train Station, thus facilitating both your arrival/departure from Karlsruhe, and your daily attendance to the workshop and all of its functions. Additionally, we will hold our welcome reception on Tuesday night at the Schlosshotel. The special rate includes room and breakfast and is 104 Euro/night for a single occupancy and 124 Euro/night for a double occupancy (limited double occupancy rooms are available).

Participants need to book hotel reservations by email (info@schlosshotelkarlsruhe.de) or by phone to receive the special rate. Mention “WORKSHOP” in your communication with the hotel to take advantage of this reduced price.
There are other hotels in the convenient train station area, such as the ibis Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof and the Löwe am Tiergarten, but we do not have negotiated rates with them.
